MPC 3.5 SOFTWARE BETA IS OUT NOW!

For me MPC 3.6 with Live III in controller mode is just fully broken.

Here's an excerpt from the last try

• EVERY button on the Live III triggers a midi mote (like every Botton on the Live III)
• Pads are in some kind of chord mode even though it's set to chromatic making playing notes and drums impossible
• Hanging midi notes all the time that I can't stop in a way that's not restarting the DAW because the Stop button is just another midi note that by coincidence happens to also stop the transport.
• Creating a midi send to route midi to another channel of another Plugin/VST does trigger all channels of that VST. i.e. Track one runs an instance of Omnisphere and plays midi notes on Channel 1. Track 2 is a midi channel with a Midi Send to Channel 2 of Track 1's Vst
• Track Edit does not open the VST ui (a bit annoying but I could work around this)

My Setup:

• MacOS 26.2
• MPC 3.6
• Live III
• Live III Network Driver (no other MPC network driver)

Is there an easy solution to this that I have overlooked or is this just what beta means when we talk about InMusic .. .something utterly broken?

MPC3 destkop is more a alpha then a beta and its now been 8 months and they really have done nothing with it.
Other then a version change what did the last "update" actually fix ?

I feel that the only change has been the compatibility to the XL. My issue has also not been fixed

Plenty of changes from 3.6 to 3.7 for the desktop software but they didn't bother listing them, but long, long way to go until it's anywhere near being considered release level.

But yes, not great that the software is so far behind standalone, they do need to catch up as controller mode is mostly unusable. But until then, use it for its intended purpose, i.e. beta testing and reporting.

Or I should go buy a real DAW as I don't want to be a BETA tester. I guess silly me for thinking the bundled software for my 1000 dollar piece of hardware would work.

March 23 update, its almost a year since release still no arranger mode. The keystone feature of MPC3.
Software still does not remember window positions, sizes or even the file path of your most recent loaded project. So every time you open the program you have to set these things again.
Any time v want to load a project or go to your sample library or get any file that's not in the install path of the software you have to go dive driving as the software does not remember where you last opened a file from.

Double clicking on a project file in windows open the software but does not load the the project file you double clicked on it just stats the software with a default template.
So much basic functionality missing from desktop still after almost a year in a so called Beta.
Yet another update with really no patch notes for the desktop software I will assume all the buggy vst3 behavior is still there and the software still crashes at the drop of a hat.
