This is an amazing feature request. This would help the browser tremendously. Also what happened to Non Destructive chopping. Why is this not on the feature request list.

 I'd really like to use the computer directly less and less with each update

Actually naming tracks is the only thing I WOULD like to use the computer. To me naming tracks on the MPC would be taking time away from the creative process. I'd rather be chopping samples, playing with effects, but not naming tracks!

Ren/Studio must have the both plugin versions.
What an Element can Do, the Ren/Studio must do ! Hmm... I wish That

Tracks per instance: 1 (user may run unlimited instances)

It is already possible.

If you own a Ren/Studio, you can download MPC Essentials for free and use it with your Ren/Studio.

I didn´t find any download link, Did I miss something ?
Edit : I just noticed you downloaded it in your AkaiPro account :) I will look there. Ty
Sorry for the off-topic ! I have to try this plug-in asap ! lol
Re-Edit : I finally found It... not on akaiprompc.com but on akaipro.com... Disappointing...

Here are the direct links for WIN and for MAC

Edit 3 : HaHa.. I tough I could record midi track in my DAW with the MPC Ren, controlling the program in the MPC Ess plugin.. but still no Pad to midi function. Deception... lol...

I had love to get rid of the MPC sequencer and just use the controller and the sampling section of the device in my Daw. Like a simple MPD controlling the MPC plugin PGM but without a MPD, just using the REN for. It's a suggestion.

Step Edit and global mixer like most people.

Option to only playback a selected part of your sequence as a loop.
(Main screen, select 'Loop', press window)

Option to select a location on your disk for the saving feature. Now when I want to save a sequence in my folder 'beats' that is in my 'music' folder I have to go through too many files to select the correct folder.

Option to select multiple samples in the main browser and the 'RAM browser' in the lower right corner. So you can drag and drop multiple samples in an empty program.
(loved that feature in Live). Also select multiple if you want tot erase a selection of multiple samples.

Being able to switch to Global Program Edit mode from the hardware.

The ability to save a single sample.

- Clean up all the stupid shit that is already there...anything that is not fully implemented, anything that needs a workaround, anything that you can do in the software but not the hardware, anything that is not quite right, etc.

- Implement missing standard MPC features and workflow

- Global Mixer

- Enhanced Direct Recording/Place Event feature in standalone MPC Software, allow trimming of the sample before placing the event, setting in/out and pre/post points for recording, etc.

- 4 external MIDI outputs from MPC Software plugin

- Master/Sequence tempo setting

- Direct communication between development team and users, to answer questions about the software, to take feature requests from users, etc.

Have alot of wishes, but these are the main ones I'd love to see implemented.

1. I'd like to be able drag n drop/bounce down pads.
2. Allow for all Stereo assignable outputs, per pad in daws,no limitations.

What do you think will make it in 1.6, or whats the main workflow enhancements on your wishlist.

1. Audio Export via drag and drop like other manufacturers
2. The midi controller mode without to start the plugin...see Maschine
3. a template editor for the midi controller mode
4. faster sample skipping in sample edit mode via qlinks...not fast enough if you have a lager track

If they just implement ONE of these I'd be happy because each one is a huge saver on time.

1.Audio warping.... (for those who don't know what that is... the ability to nudge a transient to put things on beat)

2. Audio tracks

3 .Track explode.

4. more flexible sample edit - It would be nice in sample edit mode to be able to just click and highlight a section with the mouse and have that section play... Or point and highlight a section and delete... or create start and end points by just highlighting a section with the mouse...just a lot faster than the jog wheels and adjusting start and end points.

5. like dude said above.. DRAG and DROP exporting.. My biggest gripe with this equipment thus far.
