Auto preview should play every audiofile as a whole, no 10 seconds time limitation!

1. No Plug-In Duplication - (CPU is being killed / Mac 2.66 Quad)
2. Use multiple tracks on a single vst such as Kontakt
3. Audio tracks to record vocals and external gear and plug-ins in real time.
4. Multi-core capabilities for better processing efficiency.
5. Convert a track with multiple sounds on it to multiple unused tracks.
6. All screen sizes adjustable to our choosing when working, i.e. Piano roll, note edit, automation and mixer channels etc. In the Track mixer mode the track width and height should be adjustable.
7. Additional export option (export all pads/sounds used in the song). Layered sounds should export combined.
8. Track names should be exported with each individual exported track so we will not have to rename them in another DAW.
9. File Browser folders should save their positions when a template is saved.
10. 16 Tunings on the 809 plug-in.
11. Volume knob on auto preview.
12. Right click on a track for a drop down menu for duplication, delete and other functions.
13. Freeze vsti tracks to audio tracks or if not audio tracks then freeze to a pad/program or the MPC Ren's re-sample input.
14. Full Mixer Mode which assigns every sound being used to a track (layered sounds on pads are assigned one combined track).
15 Audio Warp feature (when audio tracks are added) to handle re-mixes and syncing to tracks.
Thanks for the hard work the testers and developers are doing, I really want to make this unit the center of my production and believe in time the product will improve dramatically ...
I hope to help make a better MPC Ren experience!!!
Blessings!!!

>>Pad Solo (or some form of solo)
Isolating sounds when EQin is a nightmare!
>>Allow us to use cursor keys to move around all the edit windows on the hardware and not just restrict us to using the Q-Links.
If I want toggle a setting for one shots to note off for example I should be able to highlight it with the cursor then use either the + or - or the dial.
>>Duplicate Pad layers
There should be a quicker way to duplicate a sound from one layer to another rather then opening the drop down menu to find it. As there is no purge function, having 1 kit of 8 banks means to layer the same sound 4 times I have to search & search through the looong list of loaded sounds to find the one I want.
>>Allow us to save a PGM file only (without samples)
If I have a kit using all 8 banks and I make an edit to the program (vol, pan, FX etc) I should be able to update the save file for the program only. Since I haven't loaded any new or changed any samples, it's a waste of time to keep saving all the samples each & every time. Yet another feature omitted from previous MPC's for no apparent reason.
On a side note, please allow the browser to default to out chosen save location for kits. As it stands, must we always be prompted to save everything to a single location (where project files are) without having to open drop downs and find where we keep our sound library?
>>The ability to customize what the Q-Links control for VST plug-ins & Instruments.
Some of the default layouts are ridiculously random. I loaded up my Maag 4 EQ & rather then the Q-Links working logically from left to right to match the Plug-In, the upper left Q-Link controlled the Plug-in control furthest to the right whilst the Bandwidth & gain controls where kept apart in the q-links even though they sit side by side in the plug-in! Either address the auto mapping or let us do it ourselves please.
>>Add support to VSTi plug-ins so that I can choose presets from the hardware like I can with the bundles Akai VSTi's.
Currently this isn't possible with Steinberg Halion Sonic.
>> Options for Plug-In window always on top & for more than one to be open at the same time. Also allow the open button on hardware to open a tracks VSTi GUI by cursoring over the INST: Plug-In field. And I know that FX Presets & Insert Bypass per effect has already been mentioned but since we're on the subject.........
Maybe some of these have already been mentioned. If so, +1!

So that would be my MPC improvement suggestion on my Christmas list: The use also of the big knob to edit and move around the start and end point of samples.

Finally...someone that agrees with me. I didn't want to disparaging anyone. But to myself, I have been wondering if any of the Ren users have actually used MPCs in the past.
