What exactly does latency adjust do?

What is "get exact trigger time while recording sample"?

Win8, akai mpc studio.
A sequence 1 on the laptop you put loop OFF and when returning back to the sequence 1 one the laptop loop ON, on MPC loop OFF
When you save a project, the position loop off is not saved, always a loop on.

When switching between fx q and prog q to alternate q link use it will often crash, especially if you have both setup on the same q link knob.

I had fx q on q link 1 control a wet/dry parameter on the permut 8 plug in and q link 1 on the prog q setup to control send 1 on pad3, going to FX Pansion's Bloom plug in.

Eventually I had to remove the q link 1 on the prog q (send to bloom) and just leave it setup on the fx wet/dry parameter.

Up till then it would act crazy and keep dropping my settings for that q link and then just crashing completely....as in the program would very abruptly shut itself down.

Just updated to Mavericks and found a kind of bug in the mpc software.

if i set the latency under the 128 value, the program freeze up.

It happen if i use rens soundcard and the rme fireface as well, so i guess it should be a software issue.

Values up t0 256 are fine and the software works properly.

I updated 2 of my Macs to Mavericks and it's been pretty shitty on both! It seems to run slower for me and takes a bit longer to boot up. I haven't noticed any performance improvements at all.

Maybe it depends on which machine you install it, i guess.

In all honesty my macbook pro get snappier and the boot up its a lil bit faster.

When i use ableton and the mpc software as a plug in i got 7/8 percent more cpu on the meter (thanks god no audio cracklin animore).

Did you try a clean install, cause i did it.

im thinking that i mounted a second hd instead of the dvd player (samples and projects), so maybe this could be the reason for the improvement...

I didn't try a clean install. I just did an update from the AppStore. I have a brand new i7 iMac, the most current model. Sometimes it doesn't boot up, or when it does boot up, it can't find the keyboard. It searches for BT keyboard for some strange reason when I use a USB keyboard. I have to keep restarting to get it to recognize my keyboard. It doesn't seem any faster. And it takes longer to boot.

On my MacBook Pro, my battery life went from 7-8 hours to 1.5-2 hours. It also takes longer to boot now!

Other than those things, it's been ok I guess. But I had 0 problems before this!

Samples not saved properly with the project.

i use lots of wav sample in my mpc.

But when i use more than certain amount of wav files, the mpc does not save the new added wav files from then. it just saves the blank 99kb wav file with no sound.

sequencer always defaults to 96 ppq instead of 960 whenever I open the software, even if I change and save it, I still open the software and have to always go in the menu and check off 960 instead of the 97 default.

Also when the sequencer is 960ppq whenever I nudge notes with the quantize off, using shift+mouse, it goes by increments of 8 or 9 ppq, can't remember exactly, ..instead of increments of 1 ppq. Maybe step edit will fix this?

These are bugs for me, I'm on osx 10.9 maverick running mpc 1.5

This one's been reported already. The ppq change can't be used anyway at the moment. It's for a future feature as far as I know!
