Big shout out to those actually discussing bug reports in this thread.
Today I reproduced the problem I discussed recently regarding moving the start and end point markers in chop mode on 3 different Ren's on 3 different computers, all using 1.1.
This is an official bug.Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open a brand new session, with no samples, programs, or sequences loaded.
2) Record a sample through the MPC Ren inputs (analog or digital).
3)Enter the sample edit screen.
4) Select Chop Mode
5) Adjust the threshold to a level that gives you a handful of slices
6) Select the first slices, and using the qlinks, try to adjust the start point marker.
7) Notice the start marker moves on the hardware LCD, but it does NOT move on your computer screen.
8 ) Import/Drag&Drop a sample thats been previously recorded or stored on your hard drive into the project information box.
9) Open it in Sample Edit
10) Select Chop Mode
11) Notice you can adjust the start and end points now of a slice.
12) Go back to editing the sample you recorded
13) Now when you adjust the start and end points, they actually move on the computer screen.
