Haven't had a chance to try 1.7 yet. Can anyone confirm whether the next sequence bug has been fixed from 1.6?

That's where if you leave the next seq screen before the sequence changes it won't trigger.

A good example is Propellerheads and the way they utilize their registered user community, for beta testing.

Has it been explained on how to SUCCESSFULLY record midi from the Ren into Cubase 7? Still having problems getting this to record midi

I was JUST doing this actually, lol.

Can someone help me out? I have the MPC studio on a MAC OS 10.9.4, I use soundflower to sample in. With 1.7 I hit record and it just sits there, it used to start recording a sample. Yes, I checked the preferences and selected the audio source.

You still can't and this is not a bug. Sadly, it hasn't been implemented yet.

I'm going to put a thread about this specific request in a few days. This feature has been asked by many for a long time now..

One annoying bug has been corrected : Inside Nuendo, Ren's pen does not take the lead anymore over Nuendo's pointer. Very happy about this.

But...

PLUGIN SCANNER not working and parts of my vst instruments GUI is blacked out. I'm working on a Windows 7, 64 bit, with all 64 bit plugins. When i try to rescan all plugins it freezes, and when I try to cancel, it crashes.

But…

Because of the new Track system, all of my Ren's outputs routing to my DAW mixer tracks are lost. Everything is now routed to Track Mix (or Master Track). Before 1.7, I had tracks routed to specific outputs (i.e. 5-6, 7-8, etc…)

I had to fully uninstall 1.7 and reinstall 1.6 because all of my Nuendo's projects using MPC were unusable.

I think 1.7 is a great update for Standalone users but DAW users are not so lucky.

Very happy to see Pete listening here. Maybe you could explain what shall I do about this. Thanks!

Does cubase not get the midi when in controller mode? have you tried going up octaves to around bank D that's usually where the program is on a keyboard which when controller mode is activated the mpc is acting as so if you have your sounds on bank A in pgm but then go to midi mode it will be a few banks up if you play from bank A you won't hear or get anything from your pgm

you can confirm its sending a signal by controlling a vst and staying at bank A the note will be like -2 octaves or something

Id much rather a midi profile like the mpd and mpk series & maschine have that way you can activate it without needing the mpc software loaded by a simple key switch like it does now it would just not need the software loaded up

You can get a single 'DAW" MIDI output from the MPC Software sequencer in plugin mode into Pro Tools.

Why can't this work the same in Cubase/Logic/etc.?

Is that a bug, or something that has not been implemented due to differences in MIDI routing out of plugin mode from the RTAS version of the plugin vs the VST and AU versions of the plugin?

The 'DAW" MIDI output is available in the AU MPC Software plugin, it just doesn't seem to route into Logic in the same was it does in Pro Tools. That seems like a bug to me, or I am missing something to make it work.

When I attempt to mute, or unmute a channel strip for a sound in a copied sequence, it effects all other sequences on that project in 1.7. It's driving me insane. Any advice?
