Apple underwrites 2/3rd's of your phone's actual cost, so GPS is like an extra $200 on the retail of a GPS Ren (I can't believe I'm actually typing that...).
I would file that one under never. Does the Ren have a Kensington lock? If so force those would be thieves to have to take your whole table to get out the building.

No disrespect, but it's kind of gigantic, short of a gun to the face I don't see how you'd get it stolen. Also, set ends, put it in a flight case, put it in your trunk, go drink, no GPS necessary.
