Make Double Click interval shorter for shift modes

I have to double click these buttons so fast I feel like I'm going to break a button. Can we shorten the double press interval for all the shift functions? Just my opinion. Any one agree? just make it like 0.3 seconds longer or something, nothing drastic.

I agree with your assessment. But I also hate this feature all together.

I feel like the [SHIFT] button should behave like the [Mode] button on the MPC 5000/2500/1000. I want to be able to press the [SHIFT] button once and then press [SAMPLE EDIT/SAMPLE REC] button...which will then take you to Sample Record Mode.
