update to fix issues with Maverick?

Can we get some kind of update to fix stability and issues for those of us that decided to install Mavericks OSX? For some of us it's completely unusable and others are just hindered by lack of stability on Maverick, for example, half the time I go into "mpc preferences" the software will just freeze. I have been having other wierd issues too, some seem to come and go.

I ask this because it's a real pain to downgrade to Mountain Lion and I rather not screw up my mac attempting to downgrade the OS, so if possible I'd like to see some kind of small update to address Maverick
