Looper/ direct record in plugin-mode routed to the DAW

Please make direct record (looper) possible while working in the plugin with a daw. Its quite a workflow killer when already routed to a daw from the beginning of the beat-building that you have to close the daw, open up standalone mode and record something into a program just to switch back to the plugin! would be nice!
