MPC Software Content Location / Unlock issue used MPC

Two points.

I just bought a used almost new MPC Studio, great thing BUT:

1. How to I unlock it, as I dont know whom had it before me and it says I have registered it to too many PCs

2. I downloaded to latest content, Bank/ 809 and MPC Software Content, both Bank and 809 installed fine, BUT after downloading the latest MPC Software Content where on earth do I put it as there is no installtion program for it?

Contact Akai to reset the registration details. Unfortunately Akai don't have any online process in place to transfer registration details, so you have to do it over the phone or email (phone is quicker, they are known for taking their time with email).

As for the second one, as it's just a zipped folder of samples you can put it wherever you like, then just access it from the Browser like any other folder. On a Mac I think it used to go in Library/Application Support/Akai/MPC/Content, which is where Expansion packs also get installed, I can't verify this as I deleted it pretty much straight away after originally installing it a few years back (I have no need for Loopmaster sounds ) but at 3GB you might prefer to put it off your boot drive.

Re the sounds, I understand and have stored sounds for legacy etc in the Akai contents folder, I just thought there might have been a more elegant way of accessing them and loading sounds as kits rather than individually?
