File/Open... Option?

This seems like a very basic feature to have in the software, like in the sense that any program ever written that deals with files has a File/Open... option. Kind of disappointing that the MPC software doesn't allow you to open files from the File menu. The only option is "Load Recent..." What if I want to open a file that I didn't recently have open?

The MPC Software has its own built in, dedicated file browser - surely file/open is effectively redundant? I assume that's why file/open was left out in the first place.

I see what you're saying. Most times when I'm opening a project, I use the interface on the computer. I'd always looked for the File/Open option. This Renaissance is my first MPC and I'm still getting used to it. I think I can get used to opening projects from the MPC itself.

If you like to work in the familiar file system of your computer, you can simply drag files from Finder/Explorer directly into the MPC interface and load them that way.
