I've recently bought a new iMac that runs on Mojave but the MPC Ren isn't showing up as an audio output.
I've tried the latest driver on the Akai webpage but it isn't working.
How do I get my iMac to identify the Ren as an audio input/output?
Any help would be appreciated.

Typical issues:
- Try another (maybe shorter) USB cable.
- Try another USB port. Several users had problem with USB 3 ports, use a 2.0 or use an active 2.0 hub in between - although the hub could cause trouble, too.
- Redo all necessary firmware and driver updates again. Follow the instructions exactly as described (regarding powering off/on etc.).
- Quit AudioCore driver service manually and reboot. It shows up in Activity Monitor and (I think) is called „audiocored“ or similar; if there‘s trouble with it, it usually shows up in red.
