MPC Software plays Instruments at lowest tune possible

Hello dear friends,

i have a problem: Everytime I want to use an Instrument (eg.: Bass, Brass) the MPC Software tunes the samples down to a minimum. Of course I could use "transpose" at the Track section and tune it to 24 and its all good, but I do not think so it is the way to do it?
Also I have problems in changing the pads from chromatic tuning to another tuning.

MPC keygroup programs span MIDI notes C-2 to G8, the full MIDI note range. This is no different to any MIDI controller/keyboard. To choose higher notes on a keyboard you would select a higher octave with the 'octave' buttons. On the MPC, select a higher pad bank. There is no need to play only in bank 'A'.

However you can 'transpose' the program itself in the 'master' section of program edit.

Can you tell me how to change the distribution of the pads from chromatic mode to lets say pentatonic minor? I think I have to go to "Pad perform" in the menu, but I do not know how to select it to use it in the grid view...

Which MPC are you using to control the MPC Software?

I am using the MPC Touch with Software Update 2.7

In the MPC Touch UI you'll have to set up your sequence first, go to PAD PERFORM, configure the required scale, and hit PLAY START & REC to record your performance. Pad perform doesn't work while you are in grid mode.
