Can the MPC Software versions (1.9.x / 2.x.x) coexist?

Hi fellas, Im new (just purchased MPC STUDIO), and Im not sure about updating the software (Still have the 1.9.6, which I find more friendly) but all the info or tutorials I can get are related to the 2.x.x versions.

Read over here that you can change the name of the older version, but don't have full clues about the whole proccedure (in case its possible).

Otherwise, the only thing to do is update it (always shows the pop up inviting me to do so), and get into it full refreshed.

Suggestions and advices are so welcome.

Hello there! Never tried it, but i think if you copy the 1.9 installation folder somewhere for a backup and then upgrade to 2, you can bring back the 1.9 folder back but renamed, for example add 1.9 to the folder name. Then make shortcuts for both versions and should be good to go.
