MPC Live controller mode problem

I recently downloaded the Mpc software to use my MPC Live on my Mac, before I was using standalone mode only. After entering controller mode, I my sounds library and splice library aren't anywhere to be found. there are no samples, instruments, or drum kits available that came with the Mac. there is no option for splice either. I figured out that my saved projects had to be moved to a hard drive other than the standard internal drive in order to access them but how do I get my sounds and splice? thanks for helping.
