MPC 2.8 MIDI with Kontakt or other multitimbral vsts

Just heard about the update and congrats to Akai for implementing the new Multi MIDI functionality!

Does this new 2.8 version help you to use multitimbral vsts like Kontakt or Sampletank on different MIDI channels as well? Or is the same as before, you only have one MIDI channel per vst?

Should be able to send midi from multiple tracks to the kontact program now on multiple channels
Haven't properly tested yet
