MPC Beats vs MPC2 : Playing Chords with MPC Element

Hello,
i own a MPC element and use MPC 2.3
I can't play chords : i need to hit multiple pads at once.
Looking for difference between MPC Beats and MPC 2, i saw this video "MPC Beats | Chords & Scales"

So if i use MPC Beats i could play chords with my MPC element ?!

Can i install both MPC Beats and MPC 2.3 without problems ?

I can't see why you can't play chords with your Element on 2.3 though, you should be able to, I don't think the Element is monophonic, it's ultimately just a pad MIDI controller, the pads just output standard MIDI notes?

Any reason why you are using MPC 2.3 in the first place when 2.8 is available?

Either way, why not download MPC Beats and try it with your Element and report back. MPC Beats is a completely separate install, it co-exists with the MPC Software fine as far as I can tell.

I have installed MPC Beats, it works perfectly to play chords.
With MPC 2.3 i don't find access to pad perform but with MPC Beats it's easy to access.

Still don't understand why you are using MPC 2.3 - if you already have that MPC Software license, you can just download MPC 2.8, which is identical to MPC Beats except there's no track restrictions.
