loading new program or sequence into old project

hello,
i am having trouble trying to load a new program or sequence into an old project. each time i try to load it - it clears all the data.

basically i have an old project i want to add samples to, so i imported the sample, and cut it up and assigned it to the pads. then i saved the project. i also saved the program and sequence.

when i try to load the new program into an old project it erases the old data, and when i try to import the individual samples to the pads, it says sample already exists and asks to replace the file.

im sure im just doing something wrong. any tips would be appreciated.

Assuming your OS is stable, try 2.6 or 2.8.

You have to understand file structure.
I’ve only had mine for a year but I use the following:
Drum programs for moving sounds/insert FX.
Clip programs for moving re-sampled clips
I NEVER move complicated MIDI to another project & expect it work/sound the same. The roland MV taught me this, so I only moved “audio phrases” between projects.

IF YOU ARE SET ON GETTING PAST, I rec advanced search. I’m sure someone has a “system” for moving stuff around.
