Trying to use MPC Beats but not have much fun with usability. I have two stereo audio channels on my external mixer i.e. Channel 1,2 and Channel 3,4. I am using the ASIO driver for the mixer and MPC Beats puts out audio on channel 1,2 and 3,4 when testing. My windows audio is set to 3,4 but this should not impact it as MPC beats is selecting its audio channels via driver.
When working with tracks I can assign my main audio from MPC mixer to go out on Channel 3,4 and monitor audio along with instruments connected to my external mixer on my monitors.
But if I want to listen to a sample through the file browser, I can't find a way to make it go out to Channel 3, 4. I can switch on the external mixer to monitor channel 1,2 via headphones and hear the file browser on the external mixer, but really a pain to toggle on external mixer and put on headphones just to hear a sample.
Is there anyway to assign audio out of the file browser other than the first two channels?
