Hello all! I am a new user of the free MPC beats software and I am wondering about adding some of the paid expansion packs and bundles I have been getting in my email. Can I use these expansions with this software or only with the hardware or full MPC software versions? I may get the full version after experimenting with this but I don't want to waste my cash on the expansions if they won't work in the free edition.
Thanks for the help Happy holidays

So I tried Beats first and then bought the Premier bundle (like 100GB of plugins and samples and MPC 2).
I'm pretty sure the expansions work in Beats because the only differences between Beats and paid MPC 2 is how many tracks you can have and which folder it saves files in. So basically, just push Beats to the limit before you invest in MPC 2 (which is one of the cheapest DAWs on the market at $200; $100 on Black Friday; in comparison Reaper is $60 and Ableton with limited features is $79 or $599 for everything unlocked).
Beats saves projects and exported files in:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\MPC Beats
Paid MPC 2 (MPC Software) saves projects and exported files in:
C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\MPC
I have Beats and MPC 2 installed at the same time and they both work. The only reason I still have Beats installed is to check it when helping Beats users on this forum.
