Changing qlink names in midi program mode

Is there any way to rename the Qlinks in midi program mode? I have a little chart on my wall for what cc# equals what parameter on my multiple outboard synths and samplers, it's a serious pain. Is there some what to just rename the qlinks that I'm missing?

For Windows: Press Ctrl + Shift + L to bring up the MIDI Learn panel.
Q-Links have an index number from 1-16.
Your MIDI controller will have a specific MIDI identifier like #36-44 for its groups of buttons (Pads, Q-Links, etc.). I think you can change those in the controller editor (like the MPK MINI MK3 can be fully reprogrammed with the downloadable tool).

If you click Learn (turns yellow), then click on the Q-Link knob slot (bottom left in Home mode), then turn a knob on your controller it will register that MIDI identifier number on top of the Q-Link. Click Learn again (turns white) to save the changes.

Thank you. What I was asking is when I load an external midi program, the qlink names are pre-assigned. For instance, CC1 is Modulation, CC2 is Breath, CC3 is CC3. What I'm asking is is there anyway to change CC3s name to "Filter" instead of CC3. I know how to assign midi ccs and can use all my external gear fine, I was wondering if I could rename the labels of each CC.

Those CC names are a universal map of CCs, and even though the names are like that its common that they are not right. This is normal.
Multiple synths?? different CC maps? well what I do is make a midi program and you name it after the synth, now map the CCs but as per function not CC, so you don't have to remember them.
So My mini Nova program has CC75 for filter, but Blofeld is CC74. Now I make another midi program for the Blofeld and make the QLink 1 both filter cutoff. 2 programs with same QLINK number 1 assigned to 2 different CCS. So when you change to that track it uses that midi program and you have the right CC. So no matter the synth the same QLINK will have the right CC even if different. So basically map same functions per knob per program for each synth. Save as a program in a folder so you can use it as a template.
