Been using my MPC one for a few months, about to start getting into the MPC software (full version) . Having no real experience with any DAW though. I can get MPC one to be recognize and I can make drum beats and track them on the PC. However I cant get my MPK mini or my bass station 2 to produce sound. I can only get the MPC pads to make sound. These keyboards work fine and are recognized in standalone, but as soon as I go to controller the only midi ports are Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth (?), MPC One Port 1 and MPC Public. I have both keyboards connected to a 4 port USB hub connected to MPC which has worked fine in the past. Tried connecting keyboards directly into MPC and that didn't work. I did plug bass station directly into my laptop and that does seem to work, but it will interrupt my workflow. Im sure there is a way to get them to work as they do in standalone.

Have you tried "turning on" your MIDI I/O ports for your Bass Station and MPK Mini are connecting to? Go to EDIT>PREFERENCES>MIDI/SYNC and click on "TRACK" for each midi port that you are connected to. You can then select the MPK Mini input port and the Bass Station output port to trigger it. Next, select MIDI and your Track type then next to the red button there is a little icon with 3 lines next to it. Make sure you click this and select "MIDI INPUT PORT" and "MIDI OUTPUT PORT" to properly route your midi to the Bass Station. (Make sure your MIDI Channel are set correctly as well). HTH!!!
