Anyone know why samples would not load into MPC Beats? When I double click a file or drag it onto the Program pane, I can see a dialog briefly appear for a second, but the sample is not loaded.

Have a same question. Probably rookie problem but I would be very happy if you found a solution and share it with me too :worthy:

Yes it is 2.11.5 and I was suspicious about it but seemed a bit too crazy error for a new version (which should be better then previous right :D ?) Thanks, will try to downgrade!
Weird is that "original" samples (which come with a mpc beats) can be imported but custom ones even wav-s are not. Previously it was working.

No it can't be that, MPC reads 48kHz samples no problem.and also reads 24 and 32 bit wav - I just double checked this just in case there's a new bug, but they are loading fine for me. The problem was more likely that your original files contained non-standard file headers (for example, samples from Bandcamp contain these, as do samples from some DAWs, MPCs cannot read these files). The process of converting then to 44.1kHz probably stripped out the non-standard headers at the same time.
