aftertouch configuration

Hello all,

I just got my first synth and I am now trying to control it via midi, using mpc software.

Thing is that when hitting the pads, I have a strong aftertouch, that I would like to deactivate totally.

How can I do that ?

What do you mean by "aftertouch"? Do you mean the sample or note keeps playing (as if a piano sustain pedal is pressed)?

You may also want to mess with the sample or instrument's envelope and use a lower sustain/release. Such as in Program Edit (Ctrl + 3), bottom row of tools, scroll to the right under Modulation Sources.
