16 Levels Pad Assign

I want to assign as sound from the 16 levels to the pad without losing the original cut can I do that without having to make a copy of the sample and cutting it again also the 16 level at what amount is it tuning it please let me know thank you

The notes on 16 level are adjusted through the Pad Perform column to the right of the pads. E.g. Scale, Octave, and Root Note have the most effect. 16 note allows you to record pitch bent versions of the original sample, on the same track as the original note. All you do is pencil in the original note, then turn on 16 note and record your new versions. If you figure out how to pencil in non-original 16 note events, let me know because I can only do it by Overdubbing and pressing the pads on my controller.
