Add vocal to beat

Hello!
This might very well be a newbie question, but here goes. I have some sequences on my beat which I arrange in the "song mode". But I want to add a vocal verse that covers the whole song while the sequences switch, can I do this?

No, that's not possible. You need to convert your song to a new sequence and record to an audio track in there.
