I looked for similar posts and topics but could not find anything helpful.

I am running the latest version of the MPC software, 2.9.1, on a renaissance.
I have a bunch of soundfonts (SF2 files) that I would like to use as VST instruments, triggered by a midi controller rather than by the pads (after converting them to akp and pgm).

What are my options?

Thank you for your help.

I think you might be mixing things.

You can load soundfonts in a VST player, like Sforzando. No conversion needed.

Or you can convert them to akp with chicken sys translator or extreme sample converter and play them natively, but a lot of parameters will be lost in the conversion.
