How do you load all samples in a folder in the software?

In MPC standalone, I push shift and hit "load all" on a folder and it loads all the samples in the folder. In software, I can cmd+a and it will highlight all samples, but I cant right click and click shift all. Nothing happens on right click, and there's no button to hit that says load all.

I'm currently double clicking every single sample individually. How do you load all in the software?

In the MPC Software? Just drag the entire folder itself into the grid, it will load everything inside it. Or after CMD & A inside the folder, just drag the selected samples into the grid, or directly to a pad (it will auto assign to each sucessive pad).

That worked! Thank you, I was actually following chapter 17 of your book while i was trying to do this!

I have been here quite some time & didn’t know this . . . .

Yes, we lose the drag and drop functionality of the software when we use instandalone, most likely why they added the shift>load all option
