Hello all, and thank you for accepting me into the community. OK... I'm a complete newb to this. I recently purchased the MPK miniplay, which am enjoying using. I have connected to beats, and was starting to get to grips with the software. However, after a couple of goes, the pads stopped triggering the chord function. They just played the root note of each chord. The 'pads' in the programme were fine and continue to work. I have watched lots of videos on how to 'reset' the midi setup, and I have trawled through the forums, but nothing has worked so far. Getting a little frustrated with it now and disgruntled. Please, any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. in anticipation,
jk

"Getting a little frustrated with it now and disgruntled"
You need to strengthen your resolve. It is unrealistic to expect to pick up a complex conception and expect to know all of it is intricacies right away. It's going to take time and elbow grease before you gain enough knowledge to develop a smooth workflow.

Chord mode is actually "Pad perform mode" with "Chord" type or "Progression" type enabled. You likely were in "Chord" type but accidently switched to "Note" type or you turned "Pad Perform mode" off. Go to "Pad Perform mode" to ensure it's on are using the desired type.
