MPC 2 desktop trouble with Free Vst and Plug-ins? Help plz

I am not able to get MPC2 to load the Free version of Amped Roots from ML Sound Lab. Is this an issue with MPC2?

I ask because I had the same issue with the free version of the Krihm Drum Vst. Once I bought the full version of Krihm, MPC loaded it no problem, but the free one didn’t load at all. I had to switch to a different DAW to play with free version

I’m new to home recording, so Is there a method to guarantee that new plugins I download work without the hassle?

You don’t say what your computer OS is but I’m going to assume you are on windows? That plugin appears to be vst3 only which is not supported by the mpc software, you might be able to use a vst wrapper plugin that will make it appear as a vst to the mpc.

Yes, I am using windows 11. I did not know VST3 doesn’t work with MPC. Thank you for that tip.
