I have a strange problem in my MPC one+ with MPC3 operating system. It seems that MPC3 still doesn't support other time signatures than 4/4. I could somehow live with that, BUT...

When I upgraded to MPC3, I had 2/3 time signature set default in MPC2.x. Then, after updated to MPC3, the default signature remained 2/3 and I was unable to change it to 4/4 which I usually use. The only possibility was to load an old 4/4 song, clear it and start from that. Now in the latest MPC3 update, I can start with the new templates from the start page, which gives 4/4 time signature, BUT...

When I create new track, it is 2/3. Only solution that I have come with is to copy an existing 4/4 track. This works but is annoying. Anybody else have a similar kind of problem and/or knows a solution to this?

Sounds like you've discovered a bug, the MPC has carried over your time sig preference from MPC2 but as MPC3 doesn't currently support changing time signatures it's getting confused.

My advice would be to go to MENU > PREFERENCES > RESET PREFERENCES, that should fix it. Otherwise, downgrade to MPC 2.15.1, set your default time sig back to 4/4 and upgrade back to 3.4.3
