MPC 3 Software Doesn't Support MPC Ren BUT

So I downloaded the MPC 3 Beta and it feels very similar to the MPC 2 software. However, I noticed that it did not support my MPC Ren as a supported controller like it does in the MPC 2 software.

This is a deal breaker for me because I love my older MPC software controllers, particularly the Ren. The ONLY reason I want the MPC 3 is for vst3 support.

Does anyone have any insider information on if they'll give the MPC 2 software a VST3 support update before finally phasing it out? I mean technically, it still is the only MPC software that is FULLY supported and should be for at least another year or two.

There's no chance they'll add vst3 support for what is very soon to be a legacy, no longer supported version. They have almost certainly already left MPC2 for dust.

What computer are you running and is your Ren working on the same computer specifically in MPC 2.15.1? I mean, it's not exactly a surprise that they stopped supporting (or even spared a thought for) the Ren in MPC3, it was discontinued many years ago and was built for a different 'incarnation' of the software.

Just get this, run vst3 in mpc2, is easy to use, supports fx and instruments, and comically enough doesn’t suffer with the latency that some plug ins have on mpc3

I'm running on a 5th Gen Ryzen Win 11. MPC Ren works on the latest version of MPC 2 Software.

Thanks for this. I was using a VST wrapper before but it didn't work very well. This one looks a little more promising.

To be honest, I've been thinking about jumping on the Ableton bandwagon over the past year, but I literally love my Ren to death ( it's in my will to be buried with me) so it's just hard letting it go as a fully capable controller in the MPC environment.

For a free alternative try Kushview Element. It's a modular plugin host and chainer and allows VST3 instruments and FX to run quite well in MPC2. There's a bug where it doesn't scan all your plugins but you can click the "unverified" tab in the plugin list and manually add them in.
