MPC Software killing all MIDI notes when changing programmes

Does anyone have any info or workaround for this? My experience with standalone is that the samples of keygroups are killed when switching programmes (already obnoxious) but plugins don't have the same issue. On the MPC (3) software, it seems to kill all MIDI notes including plugins whenever the active programme is changed.

Is there anything that can be changed in settings or configuration to improve this?
