Hey all, new user to MPC beats. I have a logic and protools background. Equipment is Logic Pro X Daw, iMac, Akai mpd26.
I am having a few weird things going on with the MPD26. I have a short list of questions id love to get some help on as I am totally lost.
I am wanting to use the MPC Beats as a plugin inside logic. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to see my audio inputs. I have an Antelope Orion which has 32 Daw outputs and can see all of those but when I click the inputs all I see is Input 1 and 2. I cant seem to find a way to add inputs. When I route audio to record 1-2 on my interface so it goes to input 1-2 I am not getting any signal into MPC beats. It works in stand alone.
MPD26 Controller.
1. Im having some weird stuff with my Gen 1 MPD which I got from Guitar center the other day. I like the controller a lot but a few weird things are happening.
Pad1 is being strange. I can play my pads but bank A pad 1 wont play. Bank B pad 1 will play. I have played these sounds on the logic piano and both are playing the correct note. Any ideas on that?
2. Id really like to be able to use my midi buttons once I get this working, I would like to be able to use the record button on the MPD26 to trigger the sampler record. I would like to run my daw record button off my MAUDIO axiom 49. Is this possible?
