Just finally got around to arranging my gear so I can play with a few pieces together again, and at the moment my Tempest is the master clock, followed by Live.
However I've noticed a problem where I am completely unable to record any audio to the looper or audio tracks while slaved to the Tempest.
I'm not sure if other devices would cause the same issue, I haven't had an opportunity to try yet.
Basically I arm an audio track and it looks as though it's going to record, however it immediately un-arms itself and nothing gets recorded. Roughly the same situation with the looper. However if I unplug the incoming MIDI cable, everything works fine.
Can anyone reproduce this with other gear? I'm curious if it's specific to the Tempest, or MIDI sync in general.
