Mpc live timestreching and midi probs

Hi there,
I can't find a solution for following problems. I hope someone recognises the problems and can tell me if i overlooked something or if it could be the software or in the worst case my unit.
1. In controller mode, the unit doesn't send midi data through port A/B outs..
2. In stand alone mode, i can't use some sample processing options like discard( wich my old Mpc 2500 could do ), timestreching etc.. I read somewhere these functions are only available for controller mode for now. But if i disconnect from my computer, these functions are still available in stand alone mode... huh ??

I really hope someone can help me here.

What's up, dude!! Let me see If I can be any help...
Yep ,Pretty much the same as the 2500, (not got my Live in front of me, so cant' be THAT specific!!). Sample processing options live inside the sample edit screen, you should see a tab @ the bottom right of that screen labelled "PROCESS". Hit this & it will reveal all your usual options, discard, extract, timestretch, etc.
Not used the midi ports yet, so unsure on that issue..
I've come from the 2500 myself, so it was a fairly smooth transition....Give that a whirl, any other issues, give me a shout & I'll try to assist!

After disconnecting my unit from my pc the options were visible again... i dont understand.
