track mute thing on mpc live and qlinks on track mute

hey guys

super happy for the update, but sadly this is still missing
is t just me having struggle with this "limit" ?

Ye i asked for an automation button in track mutes as a feature request..The workaround for now is to hold the Qlink button and while the pop up window appears you can automate using the Qlink knobs

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you record w/ overdub in track mute mode, your mutes will be recorded as automation. No need to use the actual automation buttons.

yes yes i know that, and is an amazing feature
what i mean is that when u are in track mute mode u can't record automation for Qlinks knobs... because the feautore of qlinks knobs is not available in track mute... the workaround the guy said here is that to have again automation from qlinks in track mute page u need to keep pressing the qlinks knobs and it works

so for example u can automate an efx or whatver (in the video i'm moving filter cutoff) and recording same at the same time u record track mute

Is it really so crucial to automate effects from that screen?

to me is vital icepulse, if u see the video u see that i loose some vibe passing from a page to the other, because u are not full into music, as u instead could be staying just in track mute page with those 4 assignable qlinks for effects of filter

Super crusial if you want to mute/unmute tracks live and at the same time automate with Qlink knobs!Basically i need more than that and i made a feature request about it..In Track Mute screen banks ABCD mute/unmute and banks EFGH asigned to 4 different programs in order to be able to perform,mute/unmute and automate with Qlink knobs all at the same time!!!The perfect Live screen!!!

just would like to add that i've found the way to use ur workaround (love) with the right hand only, if u use middle finger to keep pressed the qlink button u can twiggle first 2 knobs really good, third so so, with just one hand.... so there is a goal to this evoluted mpc

is not perfect, but indeed is playable, and less disturbing than passing to main page then track menu, the vibe is almost there
