Is it possible to use the mpc plugin in a daw such as cubase 9 and have reason rewired and record all the the midi notes into the mpc software .. so basically

cubase as my daw MPC 2.0 as a plugin and reason 9.5 rewired all in cubase and record all into my MPC X?

Peace what up CB! Man what are you doing over there? lol

I don't use rewire never did like that function. Easier to export my files and drag and drop into my fav DAW.

You can open up the MPC software in Cubase or even R9.5.
You should be able to do Cubase , X software 2.5, Rewire R9.5.
Now to record into the X you can't be in controller mode. You can have outs running from your interface going to the ins on The X. You can definitely open up the X software alone cause l have done it. Hey try it out, that will tell all.
You must have a rewire template right?

Now l have S1v3, Reason 10 and live software. How l would do it is open up Live software in Reason, no rewire or nothing. Crazy routing positions in Reason.

Hey CB are you getting R10? Manggggg listen , ITS THE TRUTH!

Yo R10 is stupid! That new grain sampler iff the chaun! Radical pianos now comes with it. And other joints. You will be pleased.

Nah bro you don't deal with the stereo 8 tracks whatever you record into the X will go onto a pad. Giving you more than 8 tracks mono or stereo.

Now if you export out your DAW then you have a problem cause you only get 8 stereo tracks.

Lmao lol man you don't have to haveno one R10 is only $129 for you. You're upgrading.

Only recording l do is using the mic into the MPC Live. Im ITB no out board gear. My main goal was to export and drag and drop. Quick fast and easy. That's my work flow.
