I purchased my MPC X about a month ago. Used it in standalone mode until today when I decided to upgrade to 2.0.5.

I connected the unit to my Macbook and later on I unplugged it when I decided to do the upgrade later on this week. I noticed that I was unable to find my files and projects. When I tried to save a project it resulted in an error. Saving on external devices is still possible.

Akai support asked me to perform the upgrade anyway. The upgrade went well, however the issue remains. Still no factory content of projects. Saving is still not possible.

It seems to me that there is a read write issue of corrupted database file on my harddrive.

Anyone had this issue?

Same here. I installed a 512 gig laptop hard drive in my mpcx and I don't have a problem. The pc see the mpcx hard drive also, in the 2.06 software.
