Controller to go with the x

Hello all,

Thanks to everyone who has helped with previous questions, I am ordering my x this weekend and am excited. I am considering ordering a new controller as my old midi keyboard is done.

I have never had a USB controller before. Just wondering if anyone has thoughts or could list advantages to either using a USB or midi controller with the x. Is one better than the other for the new MPCs?

Depends on what you need ina controller. How many keys? Do you want a fatal key bed? Synth action? Semi-weighted? Are you loyal to a brand ?

Do you need built in sounds? Do you want to get a synth with sounds and use its midi capabilities for controlling the x?

A controller is nothing more than a keyboard with local turned off. again, depends on what you want in a keyboard controller.
