Hey, How do I assign pads to different mono outputs in MPC Live, I only see that I can assign pds to 1,2 and 3,4 and 5,6. (but in my mpc 1000 I can assign pads to L & R and mono = 1 and 2 and 3 and 4) PLEEEASE HELP :/

I can't belive this is not possible in the brand new MPC Live!!!!

thanks

The 1000 originally only allowed output to stereo pairs, the workaround was to hard pan pads. So If you want your kick out of 1 and snare out of 2, assign them both to 1/2 and pan the kick hard left (so you can only hear the kick through output 1), the snare hard right (output 2).

When a signal is sent to a single output it is not panned it is routed
It will not output a panned kick drum
It will not output a stereo kick drum
Please don't let your ignorance stop you from posting as I'm sure someone more ignorant / irrelevant will quote you. :fku:

So around 1:39 this guy explains how to use single outputs (as he scrolls down)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zg1T3qGASHU&t=99s

but when i try to do this, it only shows the option outputs of
1,2 3,4 5,6 (in the scroll down part)

Does anyone have any idea why my mpc live, does not have the single output option ?

any help greatly appreciated, thanks
