Cut / Copy / Paste Section of Sample

Hi

New Live user here working in standalone mode. Is it possible to cut and paste part of a sample? For example, I'm in Sample Editor on MPC and wish to copy a snare hit from bar 2 and paste it into bar 1 to replace an unwanted section of the sample.

Appreciate there may be workarounds to achieve similar results too.

Not in 'sample edit > trim', but you could do this if you assign the sample to an audio track and then go to EDIT AUDIO. Hold down SHIFT for the editing options in addition to the tools at the top right of the screen.

You could also chop the sample in SAMPLE EDIT > CHOP, convert the chops and rebuild the break in your seqeuncer any way you wish.
