Keep having to unplug usb from midi controller keyboard

Hi my keybaord controller in ni komplete a61 its class compliant. When i turn on my mpc x the keyboard controller does not work unless i unplug the usb cable and reconnect it. What could it be?

My akai midimix external usb controller does this sometimes and also doesnt light up when buttons pressed, it works mostly very well but re plugging it after switching between controller and standdalone has to be done, sometimes on project load tho seems inconsistent

I never had this issue with my m audio midi controller keyboard which was also usb
