MPC X Juno DS recording audio for midi track

What's going on? Sorry if this is redundant. I have my mpc x and juno DS connected to my behringer x2442 mixer. The mixer is running to my monitors. I have MIDI in and out running between my MPC and my Juno.

I am recording Midi data from the Juno into the MPC. Do I have to sample the audio to play on the midi track, or is there a way to record the audio while i also am tracking my midi through the juno Ds?

I attempted to save a song as test, but the audio that I wanted tracked on the midi data was not there. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

This helped me out a lot. You basically have to sample in the audio for the MIDI. I was hoping for a work around, but once I figured it out more it was not very difficult or time consuming.
