Random possibilities

I think, mpc live and software is great tools and they sound good for me (don't like ableton sound).
Maybe someone can advice me some tools to randomize tracks and sequences?
Now I use only random sample playing on one pad and use velocity to start point. Maybe you know something else...
Ableton's midi effects, arrpegiator probabilities, lfo to sample select, unlinked automation curves, beatrepeater variations... Is it too difficult for akai????
