Hi all, new here but not new to mpc’s / samplers.
Having a problem when using autosampler with vst’s. So far I have tried to auto sample SERUM, OMNISPHERE, LABS etc. The process seems flawless other than a huge click/pop at the start of each sample it records that subsequently ends up in the samples meaning al i physically have to go into each sample of the each keygroup and crop the glitch out.....really annoying. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. The normal sampler works just fine from external sources. Not sure if it’s something to do with the resample inputs or something

Anyone in the same boat?? :(

While I haven't been getting a pop/glitch in my samples, I've still found that I need to edit them to tighten them up since they still have a few milliseconds of silence at the start, and often the later samples are almost all silence.

Autosampler certainly is nice for what it is, but there are definitely better computer solutions.

Greetings,

I've been sampling a few presets from Keyscape. I'm getting the same thing when sampling certain piano presets. About half of my sampling sessions have that pop/clip at the beginning of the sample. I can hear it from the very start of the autosampler session as it's doing it. I tried lowering latency on my interface through the audio prefs on the MPC software, but no dice. Perhaps there has to be an option to set threshold on the autosampler window. Auto-trim start might not simply be enough. The search for a fix continues. Autosampler is mostly excellent in practice. It would be nice to have a solution for that sample start pop, then we'd be in business.

I am also constantly experiencing this...
Im quite new to mpc live so I was wondering can you put the same start point value of all samples in keygroup instrument at once?

Because all samples are recorded with same latency and they all need to be trimmed equally.
If we can do that then this is not much of an issue...

More things discouraging me from starting work on my 4-layered drum kits....

Even after the new 2.6 update im still getting this issue, im still now just lowering the volume of the synth before sampling and then physically editing each samples start point which is not ideal especially on pads.
Still love the MPC though
