Can someone please tell me how to gate samples on the MPC Live. I don't want my samples to play through without me holding the pads. I wanna press down on the pads and when I release playbacks stops. Someone please help me with an answer. Thank you all.

If I follow your question, open any drum program, Go menu - Program Edit- Master-sample play (bottom right). Switch your sample from “one shot” to “note on”.
