Oh yeah heh, I have a big post on it here in this forum. Didn't go too much into it on Gearslutz cause the thread there took the usual 'ignore an actual question posted and lets debate about how the MPC is and isn't awesome' route.

Weird I wonder if there is something in Logic that just lets it work because it IS Apple's little darling?? That c-real guy couldn't get it to work in Windows either, but then again he was actually getting messages on his Live that his USB adapter wasn't supported. The rep at the Akai forum said it only works with Live but I have at least MIDI clock and MMC going into the MPC just fine from Logic. The Live can trigger tracks in Logic too and vice versa. Maybe its cause its so tied to the OS it just works? When I tried it with wireless, the connection was so horrible Logic wouldn't play more than a bar or two before it dropped sync. After I bought the USB adapter its been rock solid.
