I hope it's sooner rather than later because I also bought monitors and they're refusing to ship those until the MPC One is there

Wow, they can seriously do that and keep your money?

Would be reason enough for me to get refunded and buy somewhere else tbh.

I agree with Bees. If a shop told me that, I would tell them to refund the entire purchase and go somewhere else. That's just ridiculous.

It IS ridiculous to hold your monitor purchase like that. If they ship separate to you they should inform you of any separate shipping costs (monitors now and MPC Later) and ask if that’s ok with you.

Thing is that he's in a part of Canada called Quebec where it's somewhat normal for weird things like that to happen. They're cutting corners to save the $20 in freight and do it knowing that you don't have any proper alternative to buy elsewhere as easy.

Quebec isn't totally bad though. I remember that they were still letting you touch a broads punani at strip joints where as the neighboring Toronto you can't even kiss a titty even if she puts it in your face.

Moral of the story - You are better off paying for the gas and drive to the states to cop your gear. Or if you don't drive, do grey hound.

This is all the life lessons I'll share today.

well me buddy got his one last week in toronto and he pre-ordered pretty early (namm just ended) ...

and getting a refund and going elsewhere is an option, true.... except all the music shops use the same distributor for inmusic products so you in a case like this where no stores actually have any in stock (yet) ... you won't be up any higher on any waiting list.

Then i'd say refund the monitors and get those somewhere else so you're still in line for the one.

In europe, the customer is always king (and so, pretty protected as a buyer).

I should probably mention, I am all the way in BC. I ordered from Musique Red One because I wanted to keep my order in Canada, and they had a really good deal on the monitors. When they got in touch to let me know the MPC would be late, I wasn't too worked up about it, as the monitors weren't urgent. They did offer me a refund, but rather than fart around and order somewhere else, I just kept the order in. I can appreciate them wanting to save on the shipping (as they cover shipping costs). So don't stress about it too much, they've been really pleasant to deal with.
